Our journey started with Kimberly Travis, our relentless founder. As a dedicated Case Manager, she faced hurdles in finding tailored mental health support for bed-bound clients, struggling with mobility loss. The lack of in-home therapy options, particularly for Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries, compounded their challenges.
In 2017, Kimberly’s initiative, Mobile Mental Wellness, changed the game. Leveraging state and federal health insurance, it brought accessible mental health services to those in need. This pivotal step laid the foundation for what is now Mobile Wellness Incorporated.
In 2021, Mobile Wellness Incorporated underwent a transformative shift, becoming a nonprofit. This evolution broadened our scope beyond mental health care. Now, our offerings encompass case management, health education, and linking individuals to crucial community resources.
Our commitment reaches beyond conventional mental health therapy. At Mobile Wellness Incorporated, we champion holistic well-being, acknowledging the intertwining nature of physical, mental, and social health in nurturing individuals and families.
